Wallpaper- specifically border...?

The border paper I have said something about being self adhesive, but there's no peel off backing. I ume it's adhesive as a postage stamp. So in theory, I could try steaming it to contact the wall? Would that work. Cuz it's taking way way too long with the gluing method...
