Why is it attacking Joe the plumber, isn't it well deserved?

I am from Toledo, OH and my husband is a licensed HVAC and Hydronics contractor and I feel that all the Joe the Plumbers out there have given a slap to the face of all contractors that are out there working by the book. If he is insulted, good, he is working, not taking out permits, not paying taxes, and I just don't feel sorry for him. He drew attention to himself by asking questions about a company that by law he could never own or run with out the backing of a licensed contractor, and his Republican candidate John McCain was the one to bring him up in the debate. Seems to me that this all may be self-inflicted. I hope he gets all the fines due to him by the state of Ohio and Lucas County. It would be well deserved. If he wants to work in the trades he needs to take the state testing like my husband and all the rest of the contractors here in Ohio are required to take in order to work here in Ohio. To be quite frank, I highly doubt that in our economy here in the Toledo area that he is or ever will make $250,000.00 a year. My husband is yet to achieve that gross for one year and I highly doubt he will, when a great deal of our residents are unemployed. We have been undecided voters up until this point, but after all the smear and attacks we have made our minds up to vote for Obama. I find it very amusing that the GOP would take the notion that undecided voters or Democrats are uneducated, I went to college as did my husband and for the most part most of the individuals that we know that are voting Republican are ether high school drop outs or just have no comprehension of the real world and what is critically of importance in our economy.
