Why is this man playing games and denying things he has said to me?

The "game playing" is natural because he is a pothead and a cokehead. He's losing brain cells. He probably doesn't remember your last name. And the fact that you're willing to continue a relationship with him tells me you're LONELY, MISSING AFFECTION and attention, still wondering what it would have been like to be his WIFE. Yes, he cares about you. Yes, you care about him. But...let's focus on YOU. Do you want to be with someone with a chemical dependency? Do you realize it could get worse and you could be dealing with his addiction later on in life? Just the fact that he has this habit is not a good thing....especially for you. Based on a professional suggestion, I finally, after years and years of making life difficult for myself, made a list of what I need from a man. If you do the same, I doubt you would have "must have a drug habit" on your list of wants and needs. As hard as it must be for you, you have to realize what would have been should never be. It's VERY hard to lose feelings for a person.....especially one you were expecting to spend your life with. And you were doing so good....and then this interruption. I know. But keep going in the right direction.....
