Do you have a broom vac? have you tried it on your carpet?

A broom vac should do a good job for quick pick up on hard floor. It will not do well on carpet as it does not agitate the carpet. Also, it should not be used as you main machine. It is only for secondary work. They are handy to keep in the kitchen or any other room that may need quick pick up jobs.
