Can an oil additive discolor your engine oil?

I recently use a STP oil treatment in my 96 Dodge Ram, and when I checked the oil, it was a little white. I let it sit for a day, and checked it again, and it was mostly clean with a little discoloration at the very end of the dipstick. I know all signs point to a head gasket issue, but I'm not actually losing any coolant. I'm trying to start with the simple stuff first before moving to the intake gasket or the head gasket. Thanks for any help on the matter.
