Girls help PLEASE?

So there is this guys that said I was amazing to my face twice and touches my arm or hand a lot, but I thought he was gay because he is SO respectful toward women and doesn't do the normal jerky stuff lots of guys do! Is he being a nice friend or does he like me? I'm so confused!!!
